We have just studied both the past simple and the past continuous together with the use of connectors (but, although, so, because) in Unit 2. So this time, we'll all write a story together! Each of us will have to write a paragraph. Is it clear?
I'll start:
It was already 7 pm. She was watching TV when her mobile phone rang. It was a very unexpected call...

Then she answered at the call of the mobile phone: - Hello?. She could heard a man voice that said: "This is Rafael. I want to talk with you". Ana couldn't belive it. I've been waiting this moment for a long time - she thought. A lot of remind came to her brain. She answered: "Let me ask you an only question, What were you doing when I saw you in the station, Rafael?".

But he didn't answer the question,suddenly Anna heard a very big noise, like a car crash outside, possibly fron the place where Rafael was calling her. And she thought that she couldn't ever know what he was doing then she saw him in the station.
Then Rafael began to spook with a very nervious, sad and worryed voice, and he began to speak quicly.
"Ana, don't do any question to me now. I need say you a very important thing"
But The phone at that moment stop working.
Ayaya, what will happen next???!

The phone stop working, because the batery was finishing so Rafael rang along the station and he was looking for a cibercaffe for call her other time, although he rang and rang all the cibercaffes were close in this moment.

ReplyDeletehe was looking for a cibercaffe for call her other time: TO LOOK FOR A....TO CALL HER.... Purpose: to plus V
As he didnt find a cibercaffe he thought the best thing he could and so, he decided to take a taxi and go to her house. Then, he get into de car and gave the address to the taxidriver and started thinking about all the things he needed to say to her. Suddenly he saw the taxidriver had chosen another way different from the right one and he started feeling very nervous... what was happening? why was everything opposite of the way he wanted the things were?

Rafael asked the taxi driver why he was taking another way. The taxi driver didn't answer.
ReplyDeleteRafael was very frightened . Then he saw a police station and decided to leave the car. After the taxi stopped at a traffic light, Rafael opened the door and he go out quickly.

But in that moment the police station was closed too!"Oh, my God, what is happening today?"He shouted, and suddenly he realized that the taxi had gone so he was alone in the middle of a dark and gloomy strange nigth that he didn´t understand anything...
